Upcoming Concert: Master’s Composition Recital

Join me on Friday, March 27th as I present works composed during my two years at the University of Texas at Austin! Included on the program will be Rhízōma for percussion quartet (2014), Southwest Landscapes for Clarinet and Bassoon (2014), and To My Soul for baritone and chamber ensemble (2013); additionally the concert will feature three works for fixed electronic media. The recital will be held in Bates Recital Hall on UT Austin’s campus.

Nov. 22: Premiere of new electronic work at Electric LaTex Festival 2014

My first work for electronic media, Study in FM Synthesis, will be premiered at Electric LaTex Festival 2014 on Saturday November 22, 2014! The festival is hosted by the Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia at the University of North Texas, and features electro-acoustic and multi-media works by composers at five major universities in the states of Louisiana and Texas.  For more information, click here.


Upcoming Performance: “Amid the noise and haste…” to be performed by the UT New Music Ensemble

Save the date! My most recent work, Amid the noise and haste… for Chamber Orchestra will be performed by the University of Texas New Music Ensemble on Wednesday, October 29th at 7:30pm CT in Bates Recital Hall.

There will be a free online broadcast of the concert through the Butler School of Music website; more info on this will become available as the concert approaches.
