Invited as a Composer-in-Residence for the 2023 Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music, Caputo’s Liminal will be performed by the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra under the direction of conductor and musical director Cristian Măcelaru.

Liminal will be featured on the Sunday, August 13th program titled “Wild Geese,” a concert that will additionally feature works by Anna Clyne, Kevin Puts, Xavier Foley, and Robert Hughes.

The 2023 season of the renowned Cabrillo Festival will run from July 30th to August 13th, 2023. Featured composers in residence include Anna Clyne, Sebastian Currier, Xavier Foley, Jennifer Higdon, Gabriela Ortiz, Kevin Puts, Andrea Reinkemeyer, Peter Shin, Carlos Simon, Gabriella Smith, Sarah Kirkland Snider, Julia Wolfe, and Bora Yoon. Guest Artists will include percussionists Colin Currie, Beibei Wang, Svet Stoyanov, and Matthew Strauss, violinist Eunice Kim, and bassist Xavier Foley.
