“Memoryscapes” world premiere with the USC Thornton Edge on 3/3/20

Memoryscapes for sinfonietta and electronics will receive its world premiere on March 3rd, 2020 by the USC Thornton Edge ensemble conducted by Donald Crockett. The sprawling 25-minute work transforms key elements from four significant works from the past 500 years of Western art music to create immersive sonic landscapes. The concert will also feature the premiere of a reduced-scoring version of Kalevi Aho’s Clarinet Concerto performed by clarinetist Yasmina Spiegelberg.
